Custom layer 3-7 firewall filters provide unstoppable protection. It's important to make sure these are configured, and have an associated Firewall Rule for the same port(s).
The myFalcon Firewall Manager allows you to setup specific Layer 3-7 firewall filters on IPs protected on our 1Gbps Shared network. We offer a wide variety of application filters that have been fine-tuned to prevent attacks.

Creating a Filter
Custom Filters can be configured by clicking on Firewall in our Client Area and clicking on Manage Firewall next to the IP you wish to manage:
Click on the Custom Filters tab and click on New Filter to create a custom layer 3-7 firewall filter:
Select from the available filters in the Drop Down List:
Specify the Port Number and set any additional settings.
Remember to have an Allow Rule for this specific port in your Firewall Rules or traffic will not be allowed!
In the example above, you would need to have both TCP and UDP port 30120 set to Whitelist in your Firewall Rules to allow traffic to these ports.
